About Me

I am an NYC based actor, singer, musician, and dancer. I was born and raised in Encinitas, CA, a small-ish surfer town about 30 minutes north of San Diego. I was raised in a musical household and at a young age gravitated towards many different creative outlets including not only singing and theatre, but guitar, piano, trumpet, violin, oboe, and drums. In fact, I nearly majored in Trumpet performance in college before ultimately deciding to attend Baldwin Wallace to get my B.M. in Musical Theatre. Although I chose to specialize in theatre, a few years post-grad as a working actor has taught me that my skillset and self expression in theatre don’t exist in spite of my other artistic interests, but because of them. Being an actor/musician is a huge part of who I am and how I approach my work. Music has taught me how to take criticism and grow, collaborate with a team to make something bigger than myself, and how to constantly strive towards excellence in my craft.
I am passionate about collaborating on new works where I can help shape my character and the show, and enjoy thinking on my feet and having to adapt to new scenarios and challenges. In addition to new works, I often gravitate towards actor/musician roles, shows where I learn/play multiple characters, and shows with improvisation and comedy.
Offstage I enjoy playing Dungeons and Dragons, writing music, bouldering, and teaching guitar/voice. I also spent over a year as an educator for the San Diego Zoo teaching classes for children on conservation and endangered species.
